I joined DMW from the outsourcing sector, where I had architected and delivered successful change programmes at Capita for ten years, leading the central transformation architecture practice. Prior to that, I worked in the Utilities sector on large-scale IT change programmes.
I enjoy the chance to change outcomes for customers by improving services. I have extensive experience in business architecture and developing an organisation’s capabilities in this area.
I studied Geography at Durham University and in my spare time, I have 2 young children who keep me very busy building Lego and on our bikes in the Yorkshire Dales.
I translate business objectives and strategy into defined change activity and ensure that an organisation is clear on the path to successful implementation.
By applying my extensive delivery experience and architecture skills, I can help an organisation align technical and non-technical interventions so that they maximise benefit and can safely deliver the outcomes needed.
I design architecture views, materials and governance to help prepare an organisation to implement change and safely deliver the outcomes they need.
I managed the delivery of the operating model to support a national pension regulation policy affecting UK employers, setting up the services to raise awareness and enable compliance for a new national policy. This enabled high compliance rates and served all employers in the UK with digital and telephone customer support. In a challenging environment, using emerging technologies during roll-out, we enabled the policy to succeed. By creating clear architecture goals and interim steps to reach them, I delivered the outcome successfully.
