I joined DMW in 2015 after 5 years at Accenture. During this time, I was promoted as a Solution Architect in the Comms, Media and Technology practise. Prior to Accenture I studied a Masters in Engineering Science from Oxford University, where we covered a broad range of subjects from building bridges - to coding - to biomedical science! I have also ways enjoyed problem solving and numbers, and so engineering seemed like the natural choice to study.

Outside of work I like applying technology solutions to automate my parents farm and generally being out in the great outdoors or walking to the nearest country pub!

My numerate and analytical background shows in the way I work and the skills I demonstrate on a daily basis. I am always looking to evidence decisions and solve problems making use of the data available.

I take a pragmatic approach to solving client problems and am not afraid to roll-up my sleeves to test ideas and prove solutions. This allows me to demonstrate early progress and value to the client.

My experience in data science / data analytics helps me to be successful in solving the data problems of my clients.

Career Highlights

I built a data dashboard solution for one of the world’s largest banks, giving them their first global view of spend analytics. This data set and the corresponding dashboards are used by the client to manage supplier relationships and purchase more efficiently in a global manner, which has led to huge cost savings and efficiencies for the bank.

This solution is used by hundreds of finance and procurement users worldwide and is a real force multiplier in how effective these people are in their daily jobs. There was a real satisfaction in knowing that I designed and build this solution myself, all whilst trying to answer other questions for the client!
