I lead business development at our energy clients, ensuring the latest technologies and DMW capabilities are brought to clients facing mounting regulatory and financial pressures as they address the growing need for renewable energy sources and carbon neutrality.
I joined DMW in 2016 following 8 years in technology consulting at Accenture, specialising in large scale programme delivery and IT service management. I have a degree in Law and Criminology from Keele University and keenly follow developments in technology and business strategy. I hold certifications in Amazon Web Services, GDPR, ITIL, and Scaled Agile delivery.
Outside work I enjoy watching films and sport, travelling and spending time with friends and family.
I have a broad industry perspective having worked for public sector, financial services, energy, retail and media clients at all size points from small start-up organisations to international enterprise scale organisations.
My previous roles include technical programme management, security and compliance, technical architecture, strategy and business case development. I enjoy working closely with senior business and IT stakeholders to identify and deliver strategic initiatives that deliver business value whilst balancing the operational constraints of running IT at scale.
In 2014 I worked on the separation of IT for downstream operations for a global energy client to enable the sale of the business in a European market. From this point on I have been passionate about working on M&A projects and have conducted multiple IT due diligence engagements advising clients on the how to acquire or divest IT assets in a way to minimise IT and business risk.
I’ve advised on numerous IT Sourcing initiatives for multiple clients building on my knowledge of technical, legal and commercial considerations to work closely with in house and 3rd party legal and commercial advisors to achieve the desired outcomes for business and IT stakeholders
I was a responsible for designing and delivering a blend of “commercial off the shelf” monitoring and support applications to enable a global fuels retailers to reduce the cost of maintain it’s Point of Sale estate and ensure compliance with Payment card industry requirements to operate.
Most recently I’ve been working on a large scale assessment of application and infrastructure landscape for a global software company with a view to enabling rationalisations and efficiencies that better position them for accommodating rapid business growth.
