My expertise lies in the programme management of global and pan-European business transformation projects with a particular specialism in ERP architecture, design and delivery.
I have designed and implemented solutions across most ERP platforms and most specifically, have deep knowledge and experience across the breadth of Oracle’s E-Business Suite applications and technology platforms. One of my key skills is the ability to understand and analyse a client’s business rapidly and produce optimised processes balancing the true business needs against the constraints of the ERP system and the delivery capability of the IT department.
Most recently I have led a government business transformation programme, creating a shared service centre across a number of different organisations, re-designing the business processes to increase cross-organisation collaboration and efficiency whilst additionally managing the design and delivery of the infrastructure and non-ERP applications (such as document management, integration and single sign-on). Other recent projects include a number of ERP recoveries, both turning around failing deliveries and re-implementing previously-failed ERP programmes.
In my spare time I play all manner of ball sports and in particular I can give people a run for their money in a less energetic game of pool or snooker. I enjoy many adrenaline activities, being both a keen skier and a bit of a petrol-head.
I joined DMW at the start of 2007 having previously spent 12 years with KPMG Consulting (latterly becoming Atos KPMG Consulting and Atos Origin). Through my teens I setup and ran a company developing back office applications for small businesses which continued through my time at University where I graduated with a 1st Class Honours degree in Management Science with Computing.
