My background is in managing large-scale system integration and technology architecture projects, across all parts of the delivery lifecycle.
My experience is within the Insurance, Banking, Media and Telecommunications sectors, where I started my career working on an Oracle multi-system transformation of legacy IT systems for a telecoms client. I have built up expertise on project assurance, Agile delivery management, business case cost modelling, and Oracle OSS systems within the eTOM business process framework, working in all phases of project delivery including business case & architecture assessment, high level design, test planning, and production support. Most recently, I am working on the quality assurance of a multi-year software re-platforming programme, moving to a new application architecture and integration solution for a major London insurer. My roles very often involve explaining highly technical solutions in a way that can steer business decisions, as well as distilling business requirements in to implementable technologies.
In my spare time, I am an avid sailor and have recently passed my Day Skipper certification. I am also an Advanced Open Water scuba diver, and try to combine those two activities as often as possible.
Prior to joining DMW Group, I worked at Accenture for 5 years, in the Comms, Media and Hi-Tech sector as a Technology Consultant, specialising in Application Functional Design. I graduated from the University of Oxford with a Master’s degree in Physics in 2010.
