My background is in managing large-scale system integration and technology architecture projects, across all parts of the delivery lifecycle.
My experience is within the Media and Telecommunications sectors, where I started my career working on an Oracle multi-system transformation of legacy IT systems for a telecoms client. I built up expertise on Oracle OSS order orchestration systems within the Enhanced Telecom Operations Map business process framework, working in all phases of project delivery from architecture assessment and high level design through to test planning and production support. Most recently, I applied my functional design expertise in delivering a digital video content delivery system for a US broadcaster, focussing on integration of data flows as well as UI design, within an Agile delivery methodology. My roles very often involve explaining highly technical solutions in a way that can steer business decisions, as well as distilling business requirements in to implementable technologies.
In my spare time, I am an avid sailor and have recently passed my Day Skipper certification. I am also an Advanced Open Water scuba diver, and try to combine those two activities as often as possible.
Prior to joining DMW Group, I worked at Accenture for 5 years, in the Comms, Media and Hi-Tech sector as a Technology Consultant, specialising in Application Functional Design. I graduated from the University of Oxford with a Master’s degree in Physics in 2010.
