I am an experienced project and programme manager specialising in complex, technical deliveries.
I work across the full lifecycle: creating business cases, establishing projects, doing the delivery through to acceptance and benefits realisation.
Since joining DMW I have worked in many sectors including media and entertainment, government, telecoms, retail and energy.
I am currently managing a significant, three-year programme to implement the second generation of my client’s internal Cloud platform. This has involved running a selection process with vendors, creating designs and then moving to implementation at a number of datacentres in the UK. I was able to talk about some of my experiences as a guest speaker at the Oracle Enterprise Architect’s Club in London – covering Cloud Computing and the challenges of building your own cloud.
In the evenings I run to keep myself fit and at the weekends I run around after my children. When I find the time, I also compose and play music.
Before DMW I cut my teeth in Accenture's UK Delivery Centre, doing large-scale deliveries for hi-tech clients and NGOs, in both delivery and architecture roles.
Prior to Accenture, I studied Electronic Engineering at Southampton University with my final year spent building flight simulator instrument displays using parallel processors. After my degree I spent the next two years studying singing at Trinity College of Music and the Royal College of Music.
