The Environment

At DMW we are committed to conducting our business with minimal impact on the environment.  We have a number of internal initiatives to help us meet this objective:

• We incentivise the purchase of bicycles by our staff through the Government's "Cycle to Work" scheme.  A growing proportion of our staff regularly commute to work by bike.
• We ensure all business air travel is offset with approved carbon-neutral schemes, where this is not already done by our clients
• We recycle all our office paper and equipment
• We encourage use of audio-visual conferencing facilities to minimise travel

In addition, we are advising many of our clients on "green data centre" technologies such as virtualisation which can reduce an organisation's carbon footprint by up to 40%.  Naturally, we adopt the same approach for our internal systems.
