The Environment

DMW is keen to be green! We already have a number of internal initiatives to help improve our green credentials which we will continue to develop.  

• “Cycle to work” - we incentivise the purchase of bicycles by our staff through this Government scheme and we are pleased that a growing proportion of our staff regularly commute to work by bike.

•  Air travel - we ensure all business air travel is offset with approved carbon-neutral schemes, where this is not already done by our clients.

• Recycling:
  • We partner with the Dog’s Trust to recycle our old printer & toner cartridges 
  • We donate our old office furniture to “Recycle Your Rubbish”
  • We have installed recycling bins in the office for various types of office waste

• Energy usage – we try to keep this to a minimum by turning off electrical equipment when not in use and by using low energy lighting.

• Procuring all our stationery from ‘Commercial’ – a “green angel” company and the first firm in the stationery sector to be Carbon Neutral.  

• We encourage use of audio-visual conferencing facilities to minimise travel.
