Richard Wilcock

I have been with DMW Group for almost six years, having previously spent nine years with Andersen Consulting and Accenture, and a further two as an independent consultant. 

I studied Engineering at Queens’ College, Cambridge, specializing in Aeronautical engineering. I am Prince2 and ITIL qualified.

I am a Technical Director at DMW Group, working primarily on infrastructure projects. Recently I managed a major programme to refresh and virtualise an energy client’s critical trading infrastructure and have helped a large retail client define their DR strategy. Currently I am managing a mixed team of clients, 3rd party consultants and hosting-provider resources to build a secure hosting solution for confidential and critical systems.

At Cambridge I played lacrosse for the University first team, and rowed for College. Now, when possible, I cycle into work, and occasionally relive old days on the rowing machine. Home life revolves around my two young boys, who have just reached an age which allows us to resurrect the annual ski-trip!
