My decision to leave PA Consulting after eleven interesting, enjoyable and successful years was never going to be an easy one. However, even during the recruitment process, I knew that if any company were going to offer me the right platform to further my career in consulting during the next phase, it was going to be DMW. 

 

From the very first interview, it was clear that DMW’s culture was less about ‘selling consultancy’ and more about ensuring clients are offered the highest calibre of people to deliver. They also clearly recognised that both the IT market and economic environments have changed drastically over the last few years, with far more off-shoring, out-sourcing, integration and cost consolidation occurring, which only intensifies the need for clients to have the right people on the ground to manage these increasingly complex deliveries.  

 

The crystal clear focus on IT delivery, at DMW, was also a big ‘pull’ factor. In these challenging times, clients need to know what your company’s brand is and how it will deliver for them. Being a ‘good consulting company’ just isn’t a big enough differentiator anymore.
