Jonathan Sturtridge
Managing Consultant
I studied Electronic Engineering at the University of Southampton and on completing my B.Eng spent the next two years doing postgraduate advanced performance studies at Trinity College of Music in London training as a singer, and followed that with a diploma at the Royal College of Music.
I started my consulting career by spending nearly nine years at Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) and worked my way through application and infrastructure delivery projects from the bottom up - learning vital skills that have stood me in good stead in my project and programme management roles at DMW. While at Accenture I was lucky enough to get both broad and deep experience; from deploying the world’s largest single WiFi network, through being the technical architect on a customer care and billing system for the UK’s largest energy supplier; to leading a project to design and implement a highly-performant solution so that a worldwide mobile telecoms firm could meet its industry data processing obligations.
I joined DMW in 2005 and have enjoyed more variety, independence and autonomy in my roles. I have worked across sectors including telecoms, media and energy on a variety of projects that have included a data centre migration for a London trading floor and a service desk implementation for an international broadcaster.
When not working - I spend my time with my family, keep myself fit by running (although disparagingly, some call it jogging) and write music.
