Managing Consultant
I specialise in solution architecture and the design, implementation, integration and support of large distributed systems and infrastructure. I have particular experience in managing design authorities, always with the objective of making the best possible decisions in a world of competing and sometimes opposing interests and business drivers. I have worked across a broad array of clients and industries including financial services, energy and retail. Prior to joining DMW I worked in Andersen Consulting’s Technology Competency.
In my client work I often find myself drawing on the disciplines instilled by my engineering degree (BEng Bristol) and I even manage to find the occasional use for some of the philosophy (MA Cantab) I absorbed in a two-year educational career break.
Outsidework, I spend my time annoying my family and friends with a lifetime of movie trivia and play the guitar barely competently.
