Andrew Button

Prior to joining DMW Group in early 2010, I worked at Accenture UK in the infrastructure consulting practice. I have worked with clients across most industry segments and have been fortunate enough to have worked in many different countries over the years. I take great pride in having been involved in highly successful data centre migration programmes for some of the most well known companies in the world. 

My main focus and experience is in infrastructure programme management, data centre migration and infrastructure transformation and virtualisation efforts. Like most consultants, I have also had the opportunity to be involved in a number of service introduction pieces of work, architectural and IT operations reviews and some quite challenging infrastructure migration projects due to M&A activities within my clients.

Before moving to the UK in 2004, I spent almost 10 years with the IT Services division at Ericsson, working my way up to Senior Technical Architect, with nearly half of this time based out of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. 

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and my two young daughters, travelling to new places and trying to enjoy the English sunshine (when it decides to show itself). Like most Australians, BBQ dinners are a regular with friends and family over the warmer months and I'm a fan of the great outdoors. I am determined to dust off the mountain bike this summer and while I don't envisage joining some of the mad antics of my colleagues in riding hundreds of miles for "fun", I do enjoy getting out in the fresh air.

I am currently working for a leading payments processing company, helping them to manage their data centre migration effort to ensure the lights remain on during the move from their old data centre to a brand new facility.

I graduated from Monash University in Australia with a Bachelor of Computing degree and hold ITIL v3 Foundation certification.
